1982 Game 7 World Series – Hernandez smacks a two-run single to tie the game for the St. Louis Cardinals, which led to them eventually winning the series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
1986 Game 7 World Series – Hernandez hits two-run single to bring the Mets back in the game to make it 3-2 on their way to eventually winning the game and the World Series against the Red Sox.
